Growing a blog

Greatest thing I've learned from blogging is it takes a good 3 months to really start seeing results. Take time,keep posting and keep networking but your results wont always immediately show.

I do already comment on other blogs, and I will have a recent posts plugin soon, don't think it is worth it right now as I only have 3 posts up, but when more go up I will add it.

If you only had 3 bloggeries up don't worry about these type things. I'd just focus on making decent posts for a few weeks; tweaking your theme and submitting your blog to some quality directories along with some social bookmarking.

I get most of my hits from forums - you don't get hits immediately but as you grow to be a 'respected member of society' they'll keep on coming

also as you keep posting with up to date or popular stuff, search engines finds start rolling in.

I used classified marketing as well

kijiji, gumtree, craigslist all have services or community sections and you can post there quiet easily, you build backlinks and you will generate visitors

Register with as many blogging search engines and forums as you can.
A good bloggeries poster had a list containing the 250 top blog websites.

Make sure to network, comment comment comment, join some social networking sites, submit "occasionally" to social media sites, hit up the forums like you're doing, etc... there are plenty of ways!

I had a look and I like the template/design you used. The URL's also great and simple. As people mentioned, patience is pretty well the name of the game. Oh, and good content (which you seem to have lots of on there) is useful too.

Oh, and never try to take a shortcut to attract traffic. Just do it honestly and ethically... so you have a blog that works in the long run.
