I'm absolutely loving this so far. As bloggers, we have a tendency to have accounts all over the place.

Some of us are obsessive Stumblers and Diggers...others keep up on Facebook and MySpace. Then there's MyBlogLog, BlogCatalog, BlogEngage, Twitter....And how about all those forums and other little socializing sites you end up on in hopes of learning something new about blogging, spreading the word about your blog, and trying to keep up with the people you meet along the way? The list goes on and on and on...

Well Quiltid puts them all in one spot in the form of a favicon "quilt." Here's an example of a banner someone is using to link people to their quilt:

My quilt isn't very pretty yet, but you can view it here: Quirky Jessi's Quiltid. (See, even Bloggeries forum is in there, hehe) I'd love for this to really catch fire so that someone can point me to their quilt, and I could hop through their pieces to add them to various sites as friends, stumble their content, track their sites, etc. As big as socializing and networking on the internet has become, I'm glad to have something like this around. Obviously other people can benefit from it, but I think it's especially great for bloggers.

With all the talk about exchanges being banned, I think this is hitting at the perfect time. It's such an easy way to let people know about your various profiles so they can find you 'if they want to'. No artificial exchanges...just a beneficial tool.

So basically you have the quilt on your blog and if anyone wants to get in touch the quilt shows them the way?

I've seen people put it in their signatures, too. You don't allow images, though, so can't really do that here. A link would do, but I'm out of space anyway, so I haven't done it here for that reason, too, lol.
