Is a contest worth 5000 ec worth participating??

Hi guys, I'm planning to start a contest in a few days, I just want to ask anyone here if a 5000ec prize can encourage people to join in this contest.. Please give your opinion...

Again with Matt and Jason. For 5000 entrecard credits you will probably get a lot of interest, though it depends on what the entry requirements are. Depending on the popularity, you may get blog posts from similar and lower level blogs to yourself for that I reckon.

I mean, thats not a whole lot of credits, but it will definitely score you some subscribers, stumbles diggs and comments.
I don't know if too many people would be willing to write posts dedicated to that contest,
but you will still probbably get a decent response. I would throw in another small prize

I see.. uhmm.. honestly the only price I can give is entrecard credits... The only requirement to join the contest is to blog about the contest itself. In your case, would you consider joining with that kind of requirement?

I think its good.......generally right now 1000credits equals to $5-$6 approx. according to my knowledge. Hence i think the contest is worth trying. But I would participate after seeing what the contest is about and i think every one will be thinking of the same.

thanks for all of your opinion. I have started the contest, I maybe going against the odds here, but I'll just take the risk. Along with the failure or success of this contest is a 3-week worth of hardwork, just keeping my fingers crossed.
