Alexa is heavily inaccurate yet STILL the BEST METRIC we have

Technorati may be easy to con, but unless you're in the Top 10k blogs on there, I'm not sure if anything else REALLY matters. I'm almost at the Top 5K, woohoo!!!

But as far as Compete, I'm actually writing another article on how inaccurate they are. But I wrote something quick a couple months ago, you can feel free to check that out.

well you can beat alexa with social book marks if you had many friends like stumble upon etc you will have jump to 600,000 easy in less than one month but Technorati is hard
for example i bought my domain from less than 2 monthes then move all my content now to my new i see alexa rank is 326,157 & Technorati is 13

well, my alexa ranking improved. It finally changed on Wednesday after about 3 weeks of no update. But I noticed that my Alexa toolbar for Firefox has the wrong Alexa # for the sites. It's like Alexa updated on their website, but didn't update the toolbar number. Before when my number changed (from looking at the Alexa site), the number in the toolbar corresponded with the number that Alexa showed on their website.

It usually takes a day or two for it to change on your toolbar, but don't you worry, it will.
