My review - I had mixed results from this; most of the reviews IMO were poorly written and there's no way I would have paid $10.00 normally, as they had just a short paragraph which was mostly fluff and being low traffic blogs did not send traffic.

I did get one review that was worth the $10, over here - probably more than that.

So far I've had 107 views of those posts, which translates to slightly less than $1/view - this is extremely expensive, as I suspect click throughs from the reviews will be less than half of the views.

If I had to use $100.00 of my own money and knowing how this would do, I would rather have run a contest with prizes or similar

I am considering using PPP Direct instead but not sure yet. If I do it the regular way, then I may make the requirements higher.--Like higher PR and RR and exclude certain domains and countries.

Not sure yet though.

I would recommend PPP direct over the marketplace. However, there are much less people using PPP direct I've noticed, than there used to be.

Heres my experiences with Advertising with PPP

Using PPP Direct as an Advertiser | Blog About Your Blog
Using PayPerPost as an Advertiser | Blog About Your Blog

They were from about 6 months ago, but pretty valid even still

I have used the PPP marketplace and I have to agree with TUK. The reviews are short and either way off base or just fluff for the 100 word count.

Sorry to say, but I don't see any benefit as a blogger to advertise there. PPP direct or direct contact review might be a better solution.

Most advertisers only want buzz, which means they're basically looking for a backlink for SEO purposes and that's all.
