Anyone using Spottt?

I installed the spottt widget on my blog two days ago to see how that went. I even signed up with the promotion code to get me 1000 extra credits.

After two days, my "spottt" was displayed 719 times, but I didn't get one click to my website from it.

Anyone else using spottt and having any better luck? What are your thoughts on it?

I am trying them out, but I don't have any better luck then you. Got a couple clicks, but nothing to cheer about.

I was reading leedoyle.com today and his post went right along with my original question above. Its titled: "Puttting the dog down!" and has a great image of a gun to a dog's head. Basically the post talks about why the site is fed up with spottt. It gave me a chuckle.

I'm not using Spottt and won't simply because I can't determine / approve or reject ads that appear. It's important for the ads to be in harmony with the basic essence of the site if you ask me.

I decided to test them out and I haven't heard from them for two days now. I am not liking it, and as bloggeries said i cant approve or decline ads so im closing my account

I agree there Rob that irrelevant ads dont look good and dont generate any clicks, making both the exchangers unhappy.

Is this some kind of Entrecard clone?

edit: Googled some, and the reviews for Spottt are indeed not good.

I dont know if I'd call it an entrecard clone or not. Its similar with respects that spottt and entrecard both display 125x125 ads. With entrecard though you get to approve which ads show up on your site, and you buy ads to show up on other sites that you choose using Entrecard Credits (EC's).

With spottt, you just display the widget and for every time your page is viewed you get a credit. For every 2 credits you earn, your ad will show up on someone elses website. You have no control over whose website or when though.
