Site Load Time

I have had my blog for a few months and naturally since I go there everyday it loads quickly. However, I have suspicions that load time may in fact be up to (1) minute. This is obviously unacceptable. So I wanted to get real time results to make sure.

1. Please visit my main page The Prize Blog.
2. Reply here with the approximate amount of time it takes to load COMPLETELY.

I appreciate this for anyone who responds back, I'm trying to get to the bottom of this optimization business. Alrighty, thanks.

Hi Brian, looked like about 10 seconds for me. However being that I did the review I too probably have a cookie already doing all the hard work. Hope others have similar answers to mine for ya though. Gl, and what a pretty ring on that page! ;-)

oh, you are more than welcome Brian. It was well deserved.

Just an FYI, I deleted my cookies just b/c you had me curious. It may have shot up to 12 seconds, but nothing of notable difference. Hope this helps!

You can check your site with this Website Speed Test. When I checked yours it was less than a second.

thats strange isn't it. so why is mine so slow then? DSL?

Yeah I got just under (2) seconds. That is weird considering what it says at : Web Page Analyzer - free website optimization tool website speed test check website performance report from web site optimization. Here it says something like (50) seconds. But I guess I would believe the first site.
