You may want to consider contests on your D&D blog as well. Contact small publishers/manufacturers and see if they would donate prize support if you feature them as the contest sponsor.

I started running contests this month (each month will have a different contest) and the response has been fantastic. The manufacturers supply the prizes and we both reap the rewards of increased traffic.

Let me know if you need any help and I'll try to direct you to the right companies. Check out rpg.net and the professional forums for some ideas of companies to approach.

You don't have to give them a login and password, if they have facebook, they'll be able to upload the pictures in a Facebook Group.

Blog contests are a great way to increase your traffic. My tip is to offer the greatest prize that you can possibly afford. With blog contests being a growing phenomenon you need something to make your contest more attractive than the thousands of others. Try to think of your contest as an investment, if you think that offering a $100 prize instead of a $10 prize will get you 3 times as much traffic then it's probably worth splashing out to build a bit of viral buzz about your blog. What's important to remember about contests is that whilst they are good for short-term marketing success this can also lead to long-term readership, advertisers and future profits.
