Thumbs up Anyone here participate at AlexaDex?

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, it's a site where you can trade virtual shares in web sites based on their Alexa traffic rating. Like a stockmarket for website traffic rankings. It's called AlexDex. Anyone here participate? It seems pretty cool so far.

Default Alexa Stockmarket AlexaDex.com

LOL I like the idea of an Alexa Stock Market from AlexaDex.com. My question is where do you find all these cool sites Brian?

bloggeries.com

Not bad, but I still don't get it; what is the benefit in owning other "Alexa" stocks? Please fill me in if you have a minute.

I think I sorta get it, still not sure what the payout is... Traffic?

Very intersting site though,
Rob

Cool

I think it is just a form of an alternate reality game that boosts the concept of Alexa. Plus i'm sure there might be a small amount of gained traffic.

This was a new one on me. I checked my blog, and it's at $15 per share, a positive bargain. I feel like cornering the market on the shares and selling as it goes up. ;-)

I wonder how they calculate shares available? I can't imagine anyone's already gotten any of mine, and it shows 114 available, which is an odd number.

Edit: should have read the faq first. Number of shares is " = 100 * log(pi) * 3 month average reach figure."

Jay

Haha I was wondering the same thing, I should have just read the faq like a normal person.
