Anyone have any experience with BlogExplosion wondered if it brings in as much traffic as claimed?

When I signed up here at this site it took way too long to get approved... almost a full month! Also when I posted in the forums both my intro post was deleted and so was my blog marketing post. So I don't see the point of this site. Some people could probably do well from it tho!

Haha surprisingly, I do have experience with this service.

It was almost a year ago when I was using it with an old blog of mine. Blogexplosion is pretty lame. They way you earn credits is by visiting a site for like 30 seconds, then clicking on a continuation link, you get 1 credit (which equals 1 visit).

It's a HUGE waste of time, and while there were a couple of easier ways to earn credits, like the blog duels (where you bet on your blog, and people voted for it), none of it was worth the trouble.

Plus, I had adsense on that old blog, and Google sent me a warning email saying that the traffic from that site was a violation. So be careful with that.

Verdict: Lame. If you want a good traffic widget, go with Entrecard. That has done wonders for me.

Tim - thanks for that, it did take me about 4 months to get approved, by that time I had forgotten about it and the blog was gone! I just wondered if it was worth re-submitting.

Blog Explosion used to be really cool in its early days.. but since the new ownership, a lot of the cool features are no longer in service.. and I wasn't too happy about my blogs being deleted either..

Well I thought BlogExplosion was dead for several months now. Anyways, it doesn't worth it to try them. I never received a good result with them except when I do some Battle blog which can bring me 10-50 visitors :lurk-2:

Agreed, I think that the site might be headed for it's own explosion soon.

I take back what I said.. my blogs weren't deleted after all.. I can access them now.. they've enabled blogcharm again, yay

I've definitely received some traffic from them but it hasn't "exploded" as advertised!
