Wierd pagerank question

Are you talking about doing "review" type of blog posts or what? The PR of your blog should have very little to with opportunities to get paid for blogging.

At the top of the page, that paid blogging oppertunity requires a pagerank

Search the buy, trade, sell forums here. Most adds thati nvolve money require a pagerank. Same on digital point.
Most of the paid to blog sites found through google also require a pagerank.

Okay, it's getting wierder.

SOme of my older posts on both my blogs have a PR of 2, but the new posts (understandably) and the main page don't have any PR, despite it being the main page that Iv'e been submitting to directories and linking to. Are blog homepages just not getting PR anymore? Or has submitting to directories somehow lowered the value of my homepage relative to my other pages?

Should I just stop putting the link out ther and see what happens next PR update? I did significantly less work on the D&D blog and it's still in the same position.

You need a robots.txt file and a sitemap.

I use this: Google (XML) Sitemaps Generator for WordPress

This generates an XML-compliant sitemap for your blog, as well as creating/updating your robots.txt file...works like a champ!
