Default Web Traffic Is Like A Campfire

Traffic is like a campfire, if you just toss in one piece of kindling (marketing efforts) at a time it is going to take a bit to get a blaze going.

If you drop in a hand full at once then you'll have a fire roaring in no time.

Once your campfire is burning good on it's own then you just have to toss in a log or 2 every once in awhile to keep it burning strong. (article posts)

How you place the sticks on the fire matters a lot too (keywords)

If your firewood is arranged in the right order with room to breath, (no spam) just close enough for the fire to jump from one piece to another (linking strategies) then you should have a bonfire burning hot in a short period of time (website traffic)

Happy Camping

If you can think of any other Blog or Website Analogies I would love to hear them.

Thanks, I took my inspiration from a Forrest Gump movie I had just watched the other night. Life Is Like A...

Or maybe it was more subliminal since my furnace wasn't working at the time and I was pretty cold. A new thermostat is installed now so we're all good.

Great analogy! Marketing isn't a one time effort. You have to consistently have your brand/name/business out there in front of your audience eyes.

Well I guess you can burn everything for a blogger platform with feedburner to get visitors to subscribe - works for me!
