nope. Generally when one does slow me down, I try to narrow it down and remove it. It posts pretty fast right now. I dont know how relevant many of the sites are, and some might even be 404, I used to audit it for my customers, but I haven't done that in a while

I use wordpress to do it. Select options->writing and down at the bottom you'll have an RPC list. I have updated this one to remove a lot of the sites that requested removal :lurk-2:

No need to sign up. Whether or not they include you in their updates is entirely up to them. One thing I've noticed, since I started pinging google, my blog posts show up within hours (I have a google alert for my site) as opposed to days. They don't gain any serps for a while, but are at least indexed pretty quick.
