I ordered some MOO mini cards today, which are the perfect size for a logo on one side and a URL on the other. Has anyone here had success with business cards for their blog?

I've never even considered business cards because my blog isn't "business-y." Now that you mention it, though, it wouldn't be a bad idea. For me personally, I wouldn't know when/where to use them, but I could definitely see some potential for other people. I wasn't familiar with Moo mini cards either, but after looking them up, they look interesting. Do you have a picture or screenshot of the ones you ordered?

I think business cards are a great idea. Offline companies go online for advertising as it's another usable venue. Offline advertising is still something that can be used for online projects. It would be most beneficial if you do some sort of networking offline pertaining to your online activities.
Even when talking with friends or people you've just met if they are interested give them a card it will increase the odds of them coming back and it's quite inexpensive compared to some forms of online advertising. Actually someone gave me a link to their website (not a blog) the other day at a party. I totally forgot about it then saw it on my desk one day and sure enough visited their site so any form of advertising is good I'd say.

Here is a screenshot of the preview. This is artwork from my site, not one of the Moo designs. I have this on one side, then just the URL centered on the other side. I find myself telling people about my blog and it would be cool just to hand them this little card so they'll remember the URL when they get home.

I think I would add the URL on the front page of the business cards as well. At least a small one at the bottom.
And yes, offline advertising can sometimes be even cheaper - e.g. one business card can be a lot cheaper than an Adsense click.
