Hey guys I just want to share what I have just found out. I discovered this site, SmileyTraffic, and found it very useful to attract traffic. It is a PTC site offering a link exchange program.. I joined this program and I saw the results overnight..

Except from more hits, did you also see an increase in your real visitors? Did you have an increase in your adsense revenues also?
I am asking because this kind of site usually send you a lot of hits which are useless. I have tried a lot but nothing worked.

yes you are right, they deliver useless hits. But I found a use of those hits. It increased my credit points at blogrush, giving my new posts more chances to be syndicated and seen by other bloggers.. In short, I find these useless hits somewhat useful afterall..

A few days ago I joined entrecard.com and I have seen some increase in my traffic. It is a way of traffic exchange between bloggers, but I think it is a new concept. Have a look it might be helpful for you too.

hi purdue512.. me I am doing some social bookmarking.. I think that's the easiest way to get more traffic.. I even see my site on the first page..

and sites like Smiley Traffic are sites that generate inorganictraffc

Except that now you've giving BlogRush useless hits, which will lower the click through rate of all the posts that appear in your BlogRush widget.

I've seen my BlogRush click through rates drop like a stone in the last couple of weeks, so I think more and more people are doing what you're doing. Sending useless hits to their blogs to get BlogRush credits.

If it keeps up, bloggers will stop using BlogRush, and then you'll simply be exchanging one sort of useless traffic for another.

I really don't mind on the click through rates.. I just want the exposure.. by the way, I know you've heard or read about entrecard.com... see it, its cool
