In Google Analytics, there is a stat called Length of Visit and Loyalty. Length of visit is how long people stay at your site. Do they go away rather quickly, or do they stay and read? Right now my average length of visit is about 3:10, which seems short given the length of my articles. Only 22% of people are staying more than 1 minute, which is puzzling considering that the authors on our site go through the trouble of producing good content. What kind of average visit length and loyalty to you have? And what helps you maintain loyalty at your site?

When I go to a new blog, I usually scroll down the first page, skimming several articles to see if I like the content. Your blog, however, doesn't show even a paragraph of the articles on the front page - to see an article, the reader has to click. Readers are lazy; new readers that aren't yet sold on your blog are unlikely to click. I'd suggest having more of each article on your first page. |

It depends on the length of your blog. I don't really bother those stats and only concern about the unique visitors and where my traffic from. I used to care too much about bounce rate, but not anymore now.

Since my blog is about movie news, there are videos on it, and I build a fun page on facebook, I don't have to worry about this. You'd better add more interesting contents to your website, so many people left in 1 minute is not good.
