am i being too greedy?

Hi,

my blog is about cooking (recepies and stuff).
I released it to the public on march 8th `11 and for now i have
bit less then 2600 facebook fans and about 130-200 to 300 visitors per day...

But i`m not even a bit satisfied... i even thought about quitting.

Can someone give me some tips how to CHILL OFF.

Via facebook. Social network is kinda hit in balkan(considering that we got dial up in late 95., and ADSL/Cable in 2003-2005.) not to mention that most of the people can only start the browser and type facebook = facebook swapped google which is good couse i`m not ranking so good on SE`s atm.

So i asked few friends to spead the word and in a few days i got my current community... it`s still growing up but really really reeeeally slow.

That is a very good start and I'm surprised you're thinking about quitting. Most new blogs are not so lucky so you may want to rethink your decision.

At the same time, do us the favor by sharing how you manage to enjoy this kind of success in such a short time. I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate it.

I told you in a post above,

Facebook drove people.

Only after a week i started getting visits from Google.

Thanks for the sharing. I haven't' started to promote through Facebook as I want to keep the privacy. Maybe one day will do when I become a full time blogger! lol...

You're doing great as a start up. It took me a whole year to get 150 visitors per day to my site. lol. You should really keep up the great work

Do you to the following things after you submit a new post?:

1. Ping your site using Pingler.com
2. Submit your site to social bookmarking sites (There is a free automatic bookmarking tool that you can use at imautomator.com)
3. Share on Social Networking sites such Facebook, Twitter, Bebo, Bright Kite, etc... (You can use ping.fm to send one post to all of your Social Networking accounts at once. This will help you save time.)

5.Submit your new post to backlinkin.com (The free tool on this site will also distribute your posts to various social networking sites as well)

That is probably the fastest start that I've heard of from a new blog. You are way ahead of the game. You might have high expectations, but that's good. If you have that much traffic in the beginning just think how much traffic you will have in a year from now.
