Here are some tips for best blogging strategy
1 create backlinks
2 Blog regularly
3 Using social media
4 Getting some friends to post comment
5 Posting comment bait
6 Try to post at least two or three times a week
7 Vary the length of your posts
8 Participating in comment exchanges
i think these are best tips and these all are very effective...

It all goes back to "Content is King" in the blogging world. Everything else will tend to follow

yes its right to have quality content....because google consider quality content...and the second thing how you gona place it .....your presentation to attract people to read it out.

You can create a hit blog and never once worry about backlinks or seo. It can be done. Now, I recognize that having some awareness of seo may be able to help a blog.

Chasing backlinks should not be #1. You will waste your valuable time submitting links to link farms.

Content content content.

After that you will have to promote regularly using some form of social media, whether it is twitter, facebook, stumbleupon or any or all of them ...

So I really like your suggestions #2 #3 and #6.

By the way, #7 is also helpful - Your readers will appreciate sometimes having short posts and sometimes having long one - Varying the length of your articles actually can help your blog.

If you want to participate in comment exchanges (#8) there is the "big old comment thread" in this forum to help with that. But please do NOT write a reply in that thread until you've read the FIRST post in the thread and you understand the rules of that thread.
