I can't decide which email system to use - have been reading all kinds of reviews but want to be sure to get it right, because it's such a pain to move a list after the fact if you make the wrong choice. (ConstantContact isn't even on the shortlist because of its lack of autoresponders, for example.) So I've finally got it narrowed down to AWeber or MailChimp. I've used AWeber before and it's not exactly user-friendly, but it's kind of the industry standard. But I've heard that MailChimp is good (and free for small lists) but they say it will close you down if you so much as send out one affiliate offer to your list, no matter how relevant and welcome it might be... Tough decision! The reviews out there aren't all that useful, I've found, because everyone's trying to sell whichever one he's affiliated with, so he can get a cut (or so it seems)... so I could really use some unbiased opinions here, based on the experience of other bloggers. Which would you guys recommend (and why?) AWeber or MailChimp?

Hello rjleaman I haven’t used any yet but will in the future, to be straight up and honest I think I will go with AWeber. My impressions from reading reviews were that AWeber is easier to use vs. Mail chimp is free for a period. A friend also uses AWeber and he has just said he has had no problems, it is easy to integrate and keep track of everything. Being in the same position as you, I can tell you to consider the following, when your mailing list does eventually grow hopefully above 500 and 1000 people, you want the least possible hassle and best ways to keep track of mails and subscribers. Also a little note, my observations have been that most internet marketers use AWeber. |

) - but there was an interview with Brian Clark of Copyblogger recently where he said he planned to go all-MailChimp for all his new business projects... I've heard mixed reviews about AWeber's customer support, too, but not anything too serious from any really credible source... So at the moment I'm still leaning toward AWeber, though I'd really welcome hearing from any other bloggers with wisdom to share and opinions to offer!

Does anyone know if you can transfer your subscribers from feedburner to any other service - aweber or mailchimp? I wouldn't want to lose the ones I already have.
