I just had an interesting experience with Stumbleupon last week. I've been on the site for a while, but last week for some odd reason I ended up getting like 90 hits in the span of a few hours. Still trying to figure out what happened....

I use Stubleupon and get a decent amount of traffice after I post my article on it. I like it because you don't have to be voted to the first page to get noticed.

I use Digg to find good, interesting articles or sites to post on Twitter. Stumbleupon only works (for me) when I find other people's sites to list, and "friend" people there to see what they discover. I have found some great websites there too. These sites (for me) are mostly to find good sites with, not for traffic.

There was a time I was getting traffic from SU, but the traffic came and went quickly. People sent from there seemed just want to see what my pages looked like. But I also enjoyed all the visitors! It was pretty fun.
