Article submission: where to get good writers at unexpensive prices?

Hello everybody;

I know that submitting articles is important to get traffic to your blog. Sometimes articles that you created years ago can still bring you traffic.

But I also know it's important to delegate taks and automate processes. So I'm thinking of paying a writer to create some articles for me.

I've already checked on guru.com and elance.com which are like the best out there to hire people to do your work. However, They charge like $12-$15 per 500 words article, and I've heard from big network marketers out there that you can get a good article from as little as $3.

So my question is, do any of you know where I can find good service at a low price?

That sounds impossible. Why would a decent writer produce an article for three dollars? Yes, if he writes one article and it's sold to a hundred websites, that might be the price, but why would you want the same content as a hundred other websites?

And, yes, if he writes it and it's "spun" a hundred times, so that each article is essentially unreadable and only vaguely resembles text that a human being would read, yes, the price might be three dollars and the article might technically be unique, but it won't be an article, it'll just be search engine fodder.

People don't sell things for a fraction of their value. A coherent, unique article that's published in only one place is worth many times three dollars.

And, leaving all that aside, why would you want someone to write generic content to fill up your blog? It's _your_ blog. Shouldn't you care about the content? I think that by even considering this, you're approaching that slippery slope that ends with spinning and content scraping and a blog that isn't worth reading.

Nope. Actually I think this is a terrible idea. Don't just send your whole articles, like spam, to other sites. You just look like spam and that your content is dime a dozen, and perhaps has so little value it can be given out.

Now, on a similar note, if you can produce a quality guest blog post for a high ranked blog in the same or similar niche, you might find this benefits you. This gets a back link on a high ranked site. This perhaps directs some traffic to your site. Be selective and make friends with people who have blogs of a similar niche.

Try visiting oDesk.com or freelancer.com. they provide good writers at reasonable costs. But don't be too 'reasonable' especially if you are looking for quality content.

I guess I didn't explain myself correctly. The articles I want to create are not for my blog, but are actually original articles that I will submit to ezinearticles.com. They will all be different and not spam. They will simply be used as a way to send people to my blog from ezinearticles.com

But that doesn't change the fact that it's simply not likely that you'll get exclusive rights to high-quality original writing for essentially no money. If you're submitting these articles somewhere as a representative of your blog, you want them to be decent, right? And I see no scenario where someone would give you, or anyone else, something of value for free. And three dollars for a piece of writing _is_ essentially free. For that matter, fifteen dollars sounds very suspiciously cheap.

I second Freelancer.com. Most of the people on there live in places like India and Thailand. $3 for a 500 word article is reasonable to them. I've rented a hostel room out in Thailand for $3. So two articles a day at $3 a pop can actually pay for people's rent over there.

There is a service called fiverr.com where you can get just about anything done you want for five bucks. I wrote a couple of articles for folks for $5, just to support the community. I changed the job I had up (up to 700 words any topic) to one dealing specifically with SEO and Internet Marketing; I like the idea of getting paid to learn something I wanted to learn anyway. In any event, you can find some pretty good writers there that are not as picky as I am in terms of their topic selection. Hope this helps.
