If you went from a free domain to a custom one, chances are you may have simply lost traffic if the host did not redirect the old one. It isnt anything wrong with adsense in that case.

I thought blogger automatically redirected your traffic when you used their service (enom) but I will have t check into it. Thanks for the heads up.

This happened to me when I switched. Only for the "monetization" tab in the blogger window. However, if I went to the official adsense overview page and went to all time all my stats where still there.

I decidedly only have one adsense account, and never affected my own ads ; fairly sure there are early reasons.

Just to chime in, Bidvertiser has been crap in my experience.

Same thing happened to me with adsense and they didn't tell me why either. I experimented with a variety of other services and found that I like adbrite the best. The only drawback is that it takes 2 months to receive payment.

Google does create a mystery out of everything. There is too a possibility that they might think that you requested a friend to go to your site and click an ad.

Cool Re: Google shut me down..

It still sort of comes back to the fact that Adsense, or any of the other small change ads, for your site is petty much a waste of time and effort. The old days, maybe 10 years ago, of getting paid a lot for ads clicked is gone.

I was getting $600 - $700 a month working one of the programs that cycled your Adsense account through and if another member of the group was interested they would click on it and you would have the opportunity to click one of their account ads. That worked for awhile but Google spotted it and shut everybody down. Looking back I can't say that I blame them.

Then the days came, and went, that if you put up 50 - 100 - 150 Adsense site you would make a fortune. That worked for awhile too. However, now it takes some pretty good quality to get your site in the top fold of page 1 in Google/Yahoo/Bing. Junk sites do not play very well any longer.

You have to kind of watch your backside a bit on the marketers that try to sell you a program that will automatically build you a virtual real estate of Adsense web sites. You will have a virtual ghost town of sites if you can't get them in the top of the fold on page one of the top three SEs.

My whole point here is instead of worrying about "Penny Clicking" ads why not concentrate on dollar clicking type of ads; affiliate programs and that sort of venue.

You still have to have a top spot but the pay will be a lot better.

One last thought on Adsense. You might check into Google's "FREE Blogger Blogs" If you're bound and determined to "make your fortune" with Adsense. They're easy to throw up and getting good content that updates on a regular basis is fairly easy to do.
