Get More Readers On Your BLOG (joint venture style)

How would you like to multiply the amount of readers you have? Okay, here it is (and it is surprisingly easy). This is leaveraging at its best:

1. Find another blog owner that is NOT in direct competition with you.
2. Make a proposal to them that will be beneficial to the both of you. The proposal will include you presenting their product (or whatever makes them money) to your viewers in exchange for them to do the same for you. This brings in all of their traffic to your site and the same for the other blogger.
3. Make sure that this "joint venture partner" you have is within the same scope that you are in. You don't want to trade with someone else that has only 20 readers. In other words, be picky!
4. Don't have many readers to start out with? Here is anexcellent way to get going quickly....

If the other blog isn't in competition with you, then isn't it likely to be in a different niche, and therefore not of much interest to your readers? It seems to me that this could annoy the readers of both blogs, and damage their trust, as you point them to something that they don't care about.

Good point, and I agree that this wouldn't work for most blogs with any sense of a personal touch.

I'm guessing the idea is more geared towards specific niche blogs with product reviews, and then I guess it would be possible to find products that would be related but not directly in competition with yours.

I don't think I've seen freedombreather ever come back to defend his/her posts, but I could always be wrong...

That's inter testing, but it seems like too much work and like it would take away from each of the blogs because all you are doing is plugging each others products/ideas.

good idea. the trick is finding the right blog to partner with.
