Start by ditching the hit counter and the seo link, then work on your theme. You have quite a bit of work to do so spend some time looking around. Unfortunately, you lost me when your first post used the word money ... |

Yep, if you're blogging just for money, you may as well stop now. Blog for fun, for a creative outlet, to meet people, to express yourself, for writing and design practice, to form a community. Or a zillion other reasons. If you're blogging for money, you're most likely going to get bored and stop your blog before you get your first penny. Find a reason to love blogging for its own sake - or if it's just about money, I'd suggest getting another job or picking up some extra hours on whatever job you have. |

Let me make something clear. I did not start blogging to make money i was merely wondering if there was a quick and easy way to make a bit of cash easily, i dont need/want it really. I started my blog because I wanted to blog. I appreciate i have alot to do as i created my blog about 11 hours ago. Thank you to anyone who submitted help all the same |

Visit other blogs and forums that are in the area as what you are writing about. Be active in them. Get known. I think they call that networking. HA! Along the way, drop your link into your signatures. Comment and post on blogs and those same forums. I don't know what it is, but a link in a forum signature and profile is like a magnet - people are drawn to them. If you can get them to visit and they say -wow- I enjoyed that, they are likely to come back. Work, work and work some more. It doesn't happen overnight. Refine your writing skills. There are only so many ways you can say things, but is there a way you can spin what you write about to give it a unique -you- touch? You can do it Tom. Baby steps at first, then get your momentum and soon you'll be off and running. Lots of good stuff in these forums, keep reading. |

Lots of people waste hours with small SEO tweeks that won't have a real impact, or useless directory submission. Spend about 80% (or more!) of your time worrying about providing, unique, informative, well-written content that adds value to the reader, and that is not duplicative of a million other established websites out there. And then repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Spend a little bit of time developing relationships with other bloggers in the same niche, using social media to ENGAGE (not SPAM!!) around your niche, and then, cross your fingers.
