Is income your reason for Blogging?

I can use the income to enhance the quality of my blog and make it appealing to the visitors. I could use money from ads to invest in a Nook!

I don't know if my niche (women over 50) lends itself to income - I'm not writing about specific products. But I suppose, if I eventually get enough traffic, I could include ads to the site - there are plenty of products out there for baby boomers! I started the blog as a creative outlet, but I do hope it will lead to more exposure for my writing, and perhaps some writing gigs down the road. I'm already reworking one blog post into an article to query.

Actually no. I needed a daily diary kind of thing, so I made my blog on Blogspot.

I put it up for Google Adsense and they havent approved me. Maybe because they havent been accepting personal blogs lately. So even if I would want to, I couldnt earn money. :P
