No Thanks To Adsense

I know there is alot of ways to make money from your blog. But does anyone sell advertising space on their blog directly to the advertiser?

I enjoyed reading these tips. I will research the other venues, like AdBrite, Chitika, and Clickbank. Right now I just have Adsense on my sites.

I also found that Adsense generated very little cash for me.

I found that having Amazon widgets that featured products in the same channel as those I was writing about generated much more revenue.

If you haven't already seen this there is a really interesting article by Darren Rowse at Problogger about where his money comes from. One one of his blogs, the majority of it comes from Adsense.

Interesting, I wish someone would start a series about each step they took in advancing their blogs to the point were it replaced having a job. And of course that the series was 100% authentic and honest. I always have my doubts about how authentic the how to make money bloggers are.

I use adsense right now but just applied for chitika. we'll see how that goes!
