It's more of a social experiment than anything else. Of course,it doesn't hurt to have people see our site or at least be reminded of it every now and then. I just want to see how many followers we can get off of this one post.

First, I took a preview of your blog and just by reading the title of the entries I have no interest in your blog.

Well I think Chimpie is right: Twitter is about quality followers who engage and not some random big number. And most people like the idea of 'I scratch your back if you scratch mine'. You might get more followers if you demonstrate that you will follow back, and that you will be a quality follower.

Twitter is terrible for blog promotion unless you've found a following of people with common interests. If you just tweet your links, absent any engagement, you've turned into a spammer. And I'm sorry your blog isn't particularly what I'm interested either - Though that doesn't mean anything with regards to whether your blog is good or bad. You just have to find people who like what you're offering. The hardcore tea drinker only usually doesn't fall in love a coffee only blog, metaphorically speaking.
