Real Life Guerilla Marketing
This is what i refer to as real life site advertising. Real life because you will be plugging your site in the real world.
Part One: you know those little sticky rectangle pieces of paper you can by, you get a roll of these peel off bits of paper to right on and stick on stuff? buy a roll of em. They cost pennies me and some friends bought some when we used to tag, with the idea of having numerous tags on a roll we could slap up without causing too much suspiscion.
Part Two: Put on your favourite music, get a drink and peel yourself away from the internets for 30 minutes and write your site address on them, not necesarrily all of them but a decent number say like 30? so you wont run out of them, you can do more later.
Part Three: If your someone like me who carries a back with them almost everyday of their life this makes part three super easy. remember those stick back bits of paper you wrote out put em in your bag, and whenever your anywhere, band practice spaces, college toilets, public toilets, internet cafes, in a street with lamposts etc slap up one of your little ads anywhere you deem appropriate.
Next time I'm in town im picking up some more of these as i often leave my main city to visit my girlfriend at her uni which is in a different city, but you'd be surprised how many people will remember your site url when they read it on the crapper.
Disclaimer: if you get in trouble using this guerilla advertising campaign you have run it at your own risk and i will not be held responsible for any damages incurred.
