Anyone use Facebook "Pages"

In case you haven't heard Facebook has this feature called pages. Sort of like a way of advertising your business or group etc. and I was wondering does anyone use this feature to get their blog traffic? and if so how is it working out? I would appreciate the feedback! Thank you

I use one for my blog, and it has helped tremendously. I also announce every new post on my facebook status when I have a new one. I ended up getting about 1,000 hits a week just from that alone.

sounds interesting. I don't personally use Facebook pages to promote my content. I mean yes you could probably get lots of traffic through it but I don't like the idea of forcing my blog on people. In my opinion facebook is very personal web site where you mostly only have friends that you personally know. So I wouldn't want to intrude people's personal life on Facebook.
Just my thoughts :P

I've never thought of doing this, i'll have to try it and see how my visits increase.

I use facebook to promote events as it is the best and easiest way of doing this. But never thought of it to promote a blog.

No problem as a matter of fact I create my facebook blog page yesterday and got some fans as well so everything is going well! You should try it too and if I'll be more than happy to become a fan! If you want you can also become a fan of my blog's facebook page!

I use facebook for personal note only ,on facebook page I wrote my dairy.I have no idea to make facebook page as new page link building since facebook is not seo friendly

Weird who joins as it`s none of your friends, ha.

That said, if you do send out a message to your friends, that could jump start. I still haven`t done that yet and will get around to it, eventually.

I think facebook fan pages are great. If you go into an internet cafe anywhere, or just at random saw someone`s screen... Good chance it`s facebook, especially among less knowledgeable users.

Lots of people start there and branch out from within, as opposed to say going to google.com and typing some search.
