Question Article directory that promotes your blog?

Hello,

I'm so excited to have found this forum! This is my first post, so please forgive me if I unintentionally do something wrong. I would very much appreciate your input on a service that we are putting together for bloggers.

The big idea is: "article directory that promotes your blog".

Background

The two biggest bottlenecks we see most bloggers struggling with (whether they are monetizing their blogs, or not) are:

1. Content creation
2. Traffic generation

We have designed a service that (we hope) will address both these bottlenecks, at the same time.

Let me explain...

Service

Every day, we write in-depth articles on a number of topics. We place these articles in a members-only directory that we make available to selected partners. Our partners are then welcome to use our articles any way they want (either "as is" or as a starting point for their own writing).

Each time our article is used, we promote the publisher's site on between 10 and 50 blogs from our network of 2,000+ sites.

There is no cost for the blogger/publisher to use our service. But we require them to link to our sponsor each time they want us to promote their site, because that's what pays for our efforts. (Btw, our sponsors are legitimate business and we are careful to check every site before accepting. You will not see any porn, gambling, pharmacy or other "bad neighborhood" sites.)

As you can see, none of these concepts are new. What is new is how we bundle it together. What do you all think? Would this be something of interest to bloggers? Is there something we are not doing but should? Or, something we shouldn't do or do differently? Any other thoughts?

Thank you in advance for your input!

P.S.: I'm not going to give you a link to our site, because I don't want this to sound like an advertising pitch.

Definitely sounds interesting. So all you require is to include a link to the sponsor? And you will automatically promote it on a number of web sites?

Also ultimately if you offer content then that content needs to be quality content. If you just offer posts that anyone could write then this is probably not worth the effort because you can always get free articles on web sites like EzineArticles that you can use on your blog, of course you have to include a link too.
Do you have an excerpt from an article or a link to one to look at? Does the article also contain pictures? Is an article already styled .. meaning it includes h3, h4, h2 headlines and strong and italic text?! Anyway these are just thoughts on the content.

Yes, that's correct.

Regarding your questions about our content... the articles are comparable in quality to what you can usually get at the better article directories (such as EzineArticles.com). No images and no styling (each site has different styling requirements, so we feel it would be counterproductive to style our articles).

The difference compared to public article directories is twofold:

1. Ours is not public. Only pre-qualified members get access to full versions of our articles. Therefore, there is potentially far fewer sites that will carry the same content.

2. We give publishers full rights to the articles. They can do whatever they please with them, including using them "as is" or completely rewriting them and signing them with their own name.
