How do you use this pulgin and how does it help your blog?

I'm not an SEO expert or even know much about Keywords - how does this help create better searches for Google?

The plugin makes sure the post title is placed in the title metatag, and the post excerpt in the description metatag

e.g. from my wordpress blog:

If you've also set up SEO friendly post url's, and chosen a SEO'd wordpress theme, then that's plenty good enough to get some top rankings for low competition search phrases

Note: I use the post title to start off the post and the post excerpt (for SEO reasons)

You should also use the SEO Title Tag plugin. It allows you to customize your titles for your main page, your tags, your category pages, and your main pages.
