Can A Musings Blog Generate Revenue??

Okay, before I joined this forum, I didn't know my blog was a musings blog (and I also happen to be a fan of Muse). XD

So anyways, can a musings blog generate revenue? Because I look at other musings blogs and according to those bloggers they hardly make any money from their blogs. At least that's what they say. So what do you guys think?

*And to hell with blogs created for the sole purpose of spamming their pages with ads. XD

Frankly, I think that it's quite unlikely for the average blog, on any subject, to earn the blogger even as much as minimum wage per blogging hour - if the goal is primarily money, it would be more efficient to just get a second job.

I'm not saying that nobody's making money at it, but I'd bet that most of the ones making money are putting in a lot of work and have a lot of expertise, and that _many_ of those putting in a lot of work are still not making any money to speak of.

Given that, why not just go for having as much fun as possible? I do realize that you'll still want traffic, whether it's about fun or not about fun. But if you can just focus on connecting with people with your content, instead of figuring out what content might lure in readers that might click ads, I think that it would be more fun.

Haha, that's the reply I thought I would get. Just double-checking to see if there are any miracle bloggers out there with musings blogs who actually make money from their blogs. To hell with Internet Marketing, we all know its a scam. Haha.

Trust me, there is NO miracle. A blog shouldn't 'have' to be a job, unless you make it one. Have fun, meet new people and best of all, enjoy the ride at Bloggeries
