What do you think the best way for me to start promoting my blog? It is a food blog. I know I need to get a good amount of content before I start promoting so it will be a couple weeks. But I just don't know where to start.

You might start by exchanging some links with other food bloggers. The links that you want to get are links in the body of posts. I suggest that you do post exchanges with other food bloggers and put a link to your blog in each post. Both of you will benefit from these natural links.

Yep, that is usually the way it works. It helps if you know them from Entrecard, forums like this one, or other services where bloggers tend to meet.

Hello Robelwilson - You might try some social networking. There are lots of foodies on twitter and facebook. You can connect with other foodies on twitter - get engaged in conversation and hopefully they'll see your blog. I find the world of coffee overlaps with the world of foodies - since they pair together well.

Facebook has been AWESOME for me. I set up a facebook page just for my blog (I already had a personal page) and everytime I make a blog post, it posts on my personal page.
