The more *quality* posts you can get, the better. You should really try to push out quite a bit in the beginning and then you can slow down later if you can't keep up. Get yourself on a steadier posting schedule so you can be consistent without content or your energy being compromised.

Quality should weigh more than quantity. But if you could do daily posting, the better.

My goal is to make a post a day, however it's hard to always keep on that track but it is a good goal to have. I would say 4minumum but do as much as you can. You have to keep people coming back, just as long as your posting QUALITY posts!

Another vote for "the more, the better". If one of the blogs that I read has new material three times a week, I'm content. Every day or several a day, even better, as long as they're not nonsense posts. Less than once a week, and I'm likely to stop checking.

I think it depends on what kind of blog you have. Mine is more along the lines of featuring or listing Etsy shops and giving short blurbs with pics about each shop. I try to put up a few shops a day at this point.

At least 5 a week, for some of my sites its pointless to update on weekends lol.

Don't try to get many but atleast 10 per day will do it for you.

10 blog posts per day? I'd have to vote that down.

If you don't have anything quality to post, better to wait until you have something that is good content. Some blogs lend themselves to more content depending on the topic, but I still tend to think that 3 quality blog posts per week is kind of the bare minimum.5 per week would be better.

I doubt that many blogs can support more than one truly quality blog post per day, unless you have a professional staff doing everything from writing content, researching, proofreading, and so on...

if you want a successful reader base, rule of thumb is one small post a day and 1 large post(story) a week.
