Do You Reply To Comments on Old posts?

So even though I close my comments after 90 days, I still get comments on old posts (posts that is like 88-89 days old) and some of them are really good comments. I rarely reply to them though.

Do you think its worth replying to new comments on old posts? What do you think?

Why not? It does not matter to me if it's new or old..

Replying to old comments can't do any harm. Remember that comments are content too. Even a short article with tons of keyword rich comments can do well. So what I do is reply to old comments and drop one or two keywords in my own comment.

So Google sees even more nice juicy keywords both in the article and comments.

It helps a lot.

I always try and reply to any comments left on my blogs. I think it's just being courteous if someone has taken the time and trouble to leave a comment.

If someone with a blog comments on my blog, I look at their blog and will often make a comment back. Exchanging comments is a nice thing to do.

Yes you're right - it has to be worth it and quality comments with interesting blogs.

You should reply to any comments that are left on your blog, unless they are spams. This will help build up the community.

hey guys thanks for your suggestions. actually i think my question is a little bit retarded, lols. Anyways I do reply 30% of the time but that doesn't go to show that I dont care that much for my readers, sometimes I just think its unnecessary.
