My PR suddenly fell!

hi guys, i noticed this morning that my PR had gone from 2 to 1!
What do you think caused it? Funny enough, my traffic has doubled in the past one month after i started using keywords in my titles. so what do you think the problem is?

Usually it's google downgrading the value they place on some of your incoming links

Could also be that sites who used to link to you no longer do so

Only other thing is if you've now got more dofollow links leaving your site - i.e. bleeding pagerank from your site

Unless you're selling selling ad space, or selling links on your site, then the drop in PR is not going to effect you much

ignore pagerank if you are getting a good amount of traffic / sales then why are you so bothered about a little green bar saying how important your blog is :P consitrate on ranked of the search engines and traffic because google might be getting rid of pagerank in the future!!

That's always been my belief - but there has always been a debate about it - some people believe it, some people don't

As I've stated many times, pagerank is only of use to you if you're selling advertising of text links on your site's pages - i.e. high pagerank = high fees

I've read the article and I still hold my original belief that pagerank is bled via outgoing dofollow links

There are lots of factors that could affect your blog's PR. It depends on the traffic of other website competitors.

I would say don't worry about your PR. Just focus on the traffic. As long as you are getting good traffic it doesn't really matter what your PR measurement is.
