Smile Display Amazon Ads On Blogs And Static Sites

Hi,

Well, Nathan's done a good job of programming our new site's Amazon script

There are lots of options - it works on blogger blogs, wordpress blogs, and static sites

There are various ways to display Amazon ads:
1/ blog plugins, to automatically display on new and pre-existing posts
2/ post creation option, for insertion when you are writing a post
3/ in template option, where you manually insert include code

The script will display all sorts of Amazon products, not just books

We've got the script running on a mixture of high and low traffic sites, and while low traffic sites do vary, the high traffic sites are showing consistent profits

Amazon is paying more than Google Adsense - which is surprising as the sales we're getting are for books - which is the lowest paying Amazon product

We're getting 2 percent conversions and $28 eCPM from the high traffic sites

There are a lot more options now than Nathan planned - because I wanted to display Amazon results based on page titles, not just on keyword, or Amazon product groups

Nathan's done his best with on-site information, explaining the various options, but email support is available if you get stuck

The Link is in my signature - i.e. Amazon Ads

I just wanted to mention that it looks like we are on track to reach one hundred thousand product ads delivered, probably sometime next week. The system is picking up in pace. We'd love to have you sign up as a beta tester.

When it comes to making money off of a blog Affiliate Script can help you to make real money because you are selling real products. A lot of the other money making schemes out there are scams. Affiliate Script is based on real life products that you get commission for selling.

So feel free to stop by and sign up:

Hello athulbnair. I noticed that you have signed up with Affiliate Script.

I assume that your question has to do with whether or not Amazon.com pays for clicks on product ads?

Amazon Associates pays you a commission for every product sale that your site makes. So for you to get paid a visitor must not only click on the ad, but buy the product as well.

This means that you probably won't see instant results. However, depending on what products you are selling on your blog the longterm results will be much better than those from a pay per click ad because selling just a simple book can bring in $2 dollars whereas selling a computer or other more expensive item can give you an even higher commission.

So in short, you don't get paid for clicks, you get paid for sales. So make sure that you pick popular products and make professional posts that encourage your readers to buy those products.

No it doesn't harm your account any. All it does is provide an automated system for making the ad code operate automatically.

Banners are alright but they actually don't make as much money as specific product ads. I would recommend that you use the ad widget designer to make specific product ads to put in your blog posts or in your blog sidebar or header.
