Why not simply add another revenue stream to your existing adsense income

I suggest Amazon products

Nathan and I have an Amazon products script you can use to add books and various other physical products to your blog site

plugin is easiest option as it will automatically add Amazon products to your existing posts, as well as new posts you create in the future

link is in my signature - i.e. Amazon products for your blog sites

you can always try Adbrite, TNX, Text-link-ads, infolinks, chitika as a alternative for adsense but still you can mix them with adsense

you still have to send traffic that buys stuff - or you'll be smart priced and only get pennies per click

is that even if you have a Pay Per Click service such as AdSense on your blog you'll get paid next to nothing per click unless your clicks are quality traffic that results in sales on the other end. If the outclicks from your ads are low quality and those people don't buy anything then you won't get paid much.

Is there any way of tracking this so you know how often your traffic buys? I'm still debating whether or not to use AdSense.

Unfortunately no. Google knows because they get feedback from disgruntled adwords buyers asking for some of their money back.

Best you can do is try and ensure you are attracting "action taking" visitors to your website - they may not have to buy something - maybe signing up for something or giving contact details may be the required action

Always try and attract "buyers" and avoid bringing in freebie seekers to your site - i.e. pay attention to good keyword phrase choice in metatags and page headings, as well as page content

A good guide is the bid price for adwords - "buying" phrases are expensive - "tire kicker" phrases have low bid prices
