yeah some advertisers just need the contact details, like lenova, dell and all need is just a no to contact you... such cases you will get paid by the google. that to a fair amount rather than a click.. they consider it as a referal ...

I think bidvertiser is the best alternate followed by adbrite, for adsense..

Amazon is good, but if you are not from north america, then it becomes a bit tricky

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but I heard Yahoo is pretty good but REALLY strict on getting into the program. But Adsense is the best...

I use Commision Junction, amazon and adsense. Most people know about amazon and adsense so I will tell you about commision junction. They have about 2000 advertisers, you have to apply to each one you want to use. most will approve you on the spot and some approve manually. Yahoo is one of their advertisers, I did get approved by them and my blog is only a month old.

I go to cj.com and pick the ads that I want to use and put them in a smartzone, I post the smartzone as javascript on my blog so that it puts an ad at the end of each post or i manually put it in the post. If an ad is not getting clicks or buys then I remove it from the smartzone and try something else. You can put up to 25 ads per smartzone and it rotates them. You can also change the weight of each ad to make one ad appear more than the others. This seems to be more efficient than adsense because not all adsense ads relate to the demographics for my site.

I don't get paid by click I get paid by sale or lead, each company tells you what they pay in advance. Commision junction keeps track of how the ads perform for all the members that use them and you have access to that data. If an ad is not paying enough or sales don't go through then you will know before you even use them.

I haven't made enough money to get paid yet but because of all the data, i have increased my clickthrough rate each week.

I'd advice BidVertiser. Also, you can use Chitika alongside other ads to maximize revenue.
