Seems like someone has come up with a traffic booster that only boosts traffic for blogs that are ALREADY popular.

I dunno, maybe I'm just a cynical bastage.

When they get more highly targeted categories, you'll see more traffic. As it is, the headlines being seen on other blogs might not be of any interest to those visitors because of the very broad categories being used.

I used blogrush for 2 days and I finally got rid of it. First of I dont think the site was ready for public beta launching yet as there were bugs that needed to be fixed even before making it a public beta.

Second, the widget kept showing the infamous message " we are experiencing technical difficulties " which is a big turn down for the readers as it seems like the blog is hosting images and widgets that are not fully loading.

Third, I dont care how much impressions I get of my headlines, if it doesnt convert into visits. Also, I heard a lot of people say that the headlines on the widget were taking them to sites that didnt even have the blog rush widget, weird. I had gotten 1000 impressions but no clicks and due to the incapability fo the widget to perform optimally I decided to take off the widget and guess what? I got 4 hits from blog rush and I didnt even have the widget on my blog.

So I think BlogRush is like technorati, in the sense that it is only crawling blogs, any blogs and grabbing headlines through the codes and showing whatever it can.

For me this is was it. I agree John Reese is a great marketer but the service didnt live upto its hype and this time John might have done a little over marketing without knowing the capability of the site he was introducing

It will be interesting to find out how it works out. I have just signed up, so I don't yet know how or if it will help me. But it didn't take much time and I don't have to maintain it. So, I think it was worth a try. If I don't like it, I can always cancel my account and delete the code on my site. And, hey, it was free.

I have also many impression and 4 clicks. But I understand that's going to be better after BlogRush will make the major changes.

some of our major changes — like moving to the 100% Manual Review process which is going to greatly improve the QUALITY of blogs in our network which will also raise the click-rates for everyone. (i.e. more traffic!)

Well, John Reese says that BlogRush will be back again at the end of this week. I hardly wait!

I have removed all traces of blogrush. Seems like a ponzi. I really don't see google liking this system too much.

i have a blogrush widget on my movie blog but i didn't know if someone visited my blog thru bloggrush..
how will i know if my visitor came from blogrush?
