however there's an awful lot of digging to do to find the keyword phrases - but once you have your low competition keyword phrases you're all set

each phrase may not bring in hundreds of visitors a month - but cumulatively your page #1 rankings will bring in the traffic making the effort worthwhile

build it and forget it static sites with 5 to 15 low competition pages can easily bring in 100 visitors a day with no ongoing effort after getting a few good quality links pointing to the home page

the technique can be found using a search for "low hanging fruit"

I've gotten about 600 views so far, and I'm about 2 months in. I plugged on reddit twice (in a relevant subreddit) and some of the views are from weird spam-looking links. I'd say about 50 are from those weird links and i've got about 300 from reddit. I'm still new so I have no idea really what I'm doing but reddit has certainly helped.
