Well, lately, I have been seeing a trend of making secret groups where bloggers participate and help each others in promotion. This has been a very good strategy. A few days ago, I joined Daniel Scocco's (not secret, but there are only 100 members!) ReTweet group and I have got 300+ clicks top a link asked to ReTweet. As a result of it, I also got 2 links in round up posts from two good blogs. Also, do you remember that Darren Rowse also posted a story on ProBlogger about 7 bloggers who helped each other in promotion by cross commenting on each other's blogs and this helped them a lot. I am also thinking about a similar group where we can promote each other's blogs by commenting and tweeting(and maybe Guest Posting!). Membership cost will be $0 per month! ![]() I would like to know your views on this. What do you think? Will you benefit from such a group and participate in it? Any other suggestions? P.S.: If I decide to start the group, I will only take in about 50-100 members. I believe more members will only make it all manageable for me as well as members. And yes, I will reserve space for Bloggeries members(if you seem to be interested!)

I think that for such a group to be successful you will need some sort of criteria to make sure that all in the group are serious bloggers, not newbies who will be riding on the coat tails of a few of the others. It sounds like a good idea, though. Keep us posted on how you plan to implement it.

Are you going to look for members in the same niche as you? That seems better than picking random bloggers.
