I'm having a lot of fun with my blog and learning a lot. This forums already helped me understand many things that I was in the dark about.

Content is the easy part for me, although mine is a bit.... goofy as you will see. Because of the way my theme is set-up, I use more pages vs posts to make navigation much easier. Technically, only one part of my site is a real blog. ( Blog Blog Blah) and I use it to list updates, new post content and general topics that do not fit my static page topics.

One big issue I am having is my "Home" page is stuck in limbo because I tried to create a new customized one. Essentially I have Two home pages, but one is non-functional. I cannot seem to get rid of the original home page either.

Hi can anyone help me? My little sister is a para dressage rider and I have just set her up a blog. This is my first time doing a blog but I think I have managed it ok. The problem I am having is that it won't show up in any search engines. I can understand it being at the very bottom due to very little hits but not being on there at all is a bit worrying. Am I doing something wrong?
Can you take a look and give me some of your great feedback?

misseyjay you might want to link to your blog so we know what you're talking about.
As for search engines, have you tried submitting your URL? Try this, Add your URL to Google then wait a few days and test it. You should show up. Just keep in mind that search engines don't update automatically, it takes some time.
Also, are you trying to search for keywords or your blog's title? Try searching for your blog's title or the url instead of searching for a keyword.
