I felt your blog was fairly straight forward which is good. The content seems solid enough. A few things I'd consider changing.

Right now the ads are dominating the page. The text has a weak appearance and the title of the blog at the top is going to be completely overlooked, along with the description of what it's actually about. I would try to throw in some bold highlights in your blog posts to help catch people's eye so they know what they should be reading. Also consider working on your title and description so they stand out more. Overall right now it just has a cluttered feel. Try to simplify and make the right things catch your attention. Hope that helps.

Fairly clean looking, I really like the green earth graphic with the sprout growing out. The content is good, you can tell that you know enough about the topic that people will be interested in hearing what you have to say. Such as peak oil.

If I had any suggestions it would probably be to clean up the logo a bit, the Planethopia.info looks pixely and has jagged edges. It's also a tad simple, which isn't a bad thing, but you could spruce it up if you wanted to give everything a more professional feel. Also, there's no clear path of where to go when you want to navigate. So you could also consider bolding or highlighting the titles of the areas you want their eyes to go to. That way they don't feel like they're digging through to find a good place to start browsing. Hope that helps.

For start, thank you for your opinion, I appreciate it and will try to improve my header banner and navigation..

As I see, you have very interesting topics on your blog, for example, the newest one is very inspiring and forces you to think about some things that you are not considering every day. I think, most important thing on every site/blog is content.

Later you may be willing to change to new template (there are so many available on the internet and they are free) to get fresh new look and attract more visitors to stay on your page. I personally started on blogger and then moved my site to another host so I can use wordpress because it's simpe and easy to use what is most important for blogging tools or CMS.

now you can build some backlinks and link exchange to get more visitors and improve your blog rating (google PR, alexa etc.. ).

I hope my words gave you some ideas how to continue to develop your blog.
