My sites seem to have hit a plateau, so I am looking into some paid advertising, I have already spent $100 (won in a contest) from PPP direct advertising, I got a good 18 posts from PR4 and PR5, some linking all my sites, others linking to two, and some just me newest one (Embellish Your Space - Turning spaces into places where the mind can unwind) <<was 'released' yesterday So, say you have 30 what/where would you spend it to get the maximum benefit? thanks in advance!

Hmmm, First let me ask you a question; you got 18 PR4 blog posts for $100? Where can I ![]() Also $30 isn't alot of money and I can't think of anything off the top of my head. I'd say get a big blog review but lots of them cost $400-$600 for JohnChow or DoshDosh which I can't justify paying or I would of already... Well I still might one day, John Chow is $400 so I'd probably go with him if I took either. Anyone else have any thoughts? |

the pay per post directory, first filter by price (max 5.00) then click the ranking stars to sort with the highest 'rank' <<<that is not PR it is just like a voting system--then you go through each blog from the highest rated down, and click on it, it will tell you the URL, description, and PR and alexa, there are a good amount of high PR blogs that are keeping the price at 5 click on 'hire me' for the ones you find that fit/high PR and hire them, one at a time - it took me a good hour in a hald to weed through them. PPP really needs to make it easier to find people based on PRAlso, not all og the 18 have 'taken' my opp, if they dont in a few days you can cancel and get all the $ back in your account, to find someone else. (if they charge 5.00 PPP taked .50, hence the 18 for 100 whew- that was long, hopefully I answered the question! LOL

yeah, that would be a good idea minus the price. I am thinking more along the lines of adwords, stumble, maybe even a banner add or something at a site- I will have to check ebay for that, I had forgotten all about that option!

I've spent probably 30-50$ on stumbles for nothing. Not one conversion I think and that is common place from what I have heard. A banner ad for one month may be worth it but make sure you get one very related to your niche or it will be a waste. Adwords was another one. Turn your site into a housewife resource the ultimate one like you are doing and maybe target low cost keywords relating to being a housewife!! <-- I' d throw my $30 there personally. There may be better suggestions but the adsense is best in my mind from the alternatives we've discussed. Hopefully some other members will have some insightful suggestions. Rob |

try an ezine ad, many ezines offer ads for that price.

I'll second the "don't pay for stumbles" comment. The traffic hardly converts at all. Adwords will get you targeted traffic, but you have to watch it carefully if you're only trying to use a certain amount of money. Ezines can be a good deal, just make sure you check them out pretty carefully. Some are nothing more than glorified safelists, and you won't get much if any benefit from them. Jay |
