1000 Views/Day - How much Money?

I've built my blog up for 4 months now. It's a niche website but there are many on the specific area (econ/finance). I average 1000 views/day now.

I have not monetized my blog at all thus far. Not even google ads.

Can anyone estimate the kind of revenue streams I can get if I start to put ads on my site? I know that putting advertisements on one's blog can irritate viewers. I wanted to build my site up to have a large and steady number of visitors everyday before I start to monetize. I'm wondering if I'm at that point yet.

Also, I keep track of my traffic only through Wordpress.com Stats plugin. Is this sufficient for advertisers or should I get some more advanced traffic tracking systems?

Maybe read hot to find a profitable niche, where it has income estimates based on Google adsense and applying the Google keyword tool...

its just all depends on the visitors if your gettin 1000 un interested crap visitors u aint gonna make a penny and also all depends how many of them click your google ads so its a randomish figuie on how much u gonna make

Then you need more visitors. The more visitors you have the more likely that you will get someone who clicks on the ad. Pretty straight forward really. I just can't wait for that 1000 visitors per day for my blog

I would try some affiliate marketing. Write some reviews of interesting and related products and try getting some sales.

1000 visiters a day in a nitch site I would think you would do pretty well if you add a couple affiliate links or goggle ads. I would be curious to see what you can make with that kind of traffic. If its a nitch site then odds are your traffic is fairly targetted so I'm sure it would be worth it, just don't make it seem like you just trying to sell them stuff.
