I use adsense, amazon, chitika, click bank, and a few other affiliate ads. One of my blogs (about auction trademe tips in NZ), which has the least visitors (< 20 daily) has the higher paying ads (5 to 10x higher), than my other blogs. Some ads have paid $1 to $2 each. But overall need a massive increase in visitors, but my blog topics are very competitive. Time for sub niche blogs I guess..

As for Amazon, I'm getting moderate clicks daily, but no conversions. I think visitors could either circumvent the ad process and purchase independently, or use other online avenues (p2p? free sites) to get the items (e.g. MP3's, books) for free...
