Anyone else find blogcarnival.com to be helpful in getting traffic/backlinks to your blogs?

I use blog carnival on occasion. In fact I'm getting ready to host a large book review carnival on Inkweaver Review. It isn't a great source of traffic, and it is only a slight source of backlinks, but every little bit helps.

I submitted two articles, but that was the end of it. I find that submitting articles to public sites of your niche provides way more traffic.

I agree with the other two replies - blogcarnival is OK but not great its a good fallback for when you can't think of anything else to do to get backlinks and traffic the last article I submitted was for weight loss - and one of the blog owners I submitted to published my article - then tried to morally blackmail into linking to his other crappy pill pushing website - because he'd been good enough to publish my article on his blog site |
