Best way to get traffic

Honestly I use many social networking websites and it works out great but the traffic is rarely consistent!

I think the best way to get more blog traffic is to blog.

I mean blog, Monday - Friday and even weekends if you can but blog every day and you will get traffic.

That is definitely the case. The more you blog the more often people will come back to read your blog. It also helps you to get subscribers.

And the more content you have the more search engine hits you get.

In my opinion the best way to get traffic is to just create content that you like yourself and that you would actually like to read.
If that's not the case than I don't think you can generate much traffic or let's say loyal readers who keep coming back.

Hi,

I'm fairly new to the blogging community (three months), but I'm trying to catch up fast. I am posting every day and I tag every post. I've also listed in about 12 directories.

Am I being over-anxious when I think my average views per day since roll-out, 45, is pitiful? Couldn't that be one or two people? Actually, I think the traffic is probably other bloggers and directory admins...not that that is a bad thing, it's just that they are not really my targeted audience. I'm jus' sayin'...

What kind of traffic should I expect to have by now. In 6 months? A year?

I would appreciate any tips or suggestions. Thanks in advance.
