Traffic for Unique articles?

Hey guys,

I have a travel blog flighthotel.blogspot.com where i have posted about 8 new original articles in last 3 days. don't know how much unique.

I got about 25 visitors from that and no CTR. I am not a tech guy. Not sure how to optimise or get traffic. I did ping and submited in digg. But no difference.
I know the basic of most of the marketing technics. But the problem is the art of applying them.

I can write unique articles as I am studying tourism. What would you suggest I should do.

Your help would be appriciated.

In your niche target organic hits.
Use Adwords keywords tool ( https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal ) to find good keywords and blog about them.
Follow basic SEO practices like proper usage of meta tags, h1 tags, keywords in title etc.

My blog has seperate page for each post. But don't know how to edit them. I m using classic tamplate in blogger. so I can edit only 1 html page.

Unfortunately I have no idea about blogger, as I have never used it. I am sure someone else would be able to help you out.

If you don't mind me asking what you normally do to get extra traffic. People talk a lot about social media. But I just can't figure out how?

By the way, do u know how or when I can add my signature?

You need to make 15 posts before you can have a signature.
Try and target Stumble Upon and Twitter. They are the two social media services which are good for bloggers.

Also try and blog about stuff related to your niche which people are interested in. Google Trends is a good place to get ideas. It shows top 100 searches at that moment.

To promote my blog I put my URL everywhere. Because it's a visual art blog about my work, I won't get too much traffic which is fine with me because It is somewhere for people to see my current work.
However I promote because I am now selling on Etsy and I would like to make money off what I love (who wouldn't?)
Thus...
I have my link and my Etsy Mini shop on my Facebook page.
I have my link to my blog and my Etsy shop on Twitter and anytime I update I post a link and short description on Twitter.
I have a subscription available for RSS feed on my blog and my Twitter on my blog.
On my Etsy shop I have my link for both my blog and Twitter on there so it is really easy for people to bounce between my Etsy shop, blog, and Twitter page.

Also I signed up my blog in lots of directories and have optimized it for search engines through meta tags and description.

Continually posting on forums such as Bloggeries is a fabtabulous way to promote your blog and gain traffic.

Your problem is simply this:

Your blog is too new. At only three days you can't expect to receive lots of traffic unless you are writing about a really popular subject and just happen to get picked up by every single social bookmarking service on the internet.

Traffic isn't going to happen in three days.

Maybe in three months.

But most blogs take six months to really get going. It takes patience to keep working through the dead times when your blog is still new and no one knows about it.

Just keep promoting it and keep writing posts. As long as you keep it up then eventually the traffic will come.

Three days is too short time period for traffic to build up. I would like to give you the classic advice(that's most useful!), Do Not Give Up!
I suggest writing less(3-4 article per week is fine is starting) and giving more time to promotion.
